Expo Guadalajara, the most dynamic, versatile and important Exhibition / Convention Center in Mexico, with an enormous projection throughout Latin America. It is the perfect venue for the GPPS 2011.
Expo Guadalajara began operations in 1987, and since then it has managed to maintain the highest levels of occupation. Nowadays, it hosts more than 150 events every year, including some of the most important trade shows in the region in the publishing, hardware, furniture and commerce sectors.
The biggest event is the International Book Fair. In its 2008 edition, it received more than 600,000 people from all over the world, and almost 2,000 publishing companies from 40 countries.
In 2007, Expo Guadalajara started an ambitious expansion plan which was concluded last year with the final opening of its Grand Convention and Congress Hall. Setting a new standard for the worldwide meetings industry, the new high-tech facilities added a total of 13,000 square meters to the first building.
