TequilaTequila

A magical town just 30 minutes from Guadalajara, Tequila gives its name to the world famous beverage. You will find Tequila anywhere in the world, but only here can you experience its creation process. Mundo Cuervo, for instance, offers you a complete tour of all the steps needed to make Tequila. And for a more comprehensive experience, you can take the Tequila Express, a train journey from Guadalajara to this beautiful town, including mariachi and plenty of Tequila for passengers.

 

TequilaChapala/Ajijic

Chapala is the biggest lake in Mexico, only 30 minutes from Guadalajara. As a good example of Mexican culture and traditions, surrounding the lake you will find several beautiful towns, such as Chapala and Ajijic. Here, entertainment and leisure come together in the form of exquisite cuisine, incredible scenery, excellent weather, world-class golf courses and more than 500 handcraft workshops.

 

Mountain zoneMountain zone

A deep and beautiful forest is what you will find just one hour away from Guadalajara. Jalisco´s mountain zone is vast, with amazing towns such as Tapalpa and Mazamitla. Once there, you have access to recreation activities like camping, cycling, parachuting, etc. Or, as many of the visitors do, you can just lie for hours contemplating the fascinating landscape.

 

Puerto VallartaPuerto Vallarta

Four hours away from Guadalajara (or 30 minutes by plane) is Puerto Vallarta, one of the most important beach destinations in Mexico. A long, beautiful coastline, warm water, white sand and whatever activity you may want to enjoy, everything can be found in Puerto Vallarta, including a very exciting night life.
